Meet Ahmed Radwan.

Technical and recreational diving instructor with expertise in diving fundamentals, technical diving and diving physiology.

Diving is much more than a passion or hobby for Ahmed. It is his way to connect with nature, find peace and explore the ocean’s diversity. Teaching others has become one of the cornerstones of his life: helping people overcome challenges, understand themselves better and open their eyes to the beauty of the ocean. His journey began with a freediving trial that revealed the magic of the underwater world.

What is your favourite dive site in Oman, and why?

Deep Reef, as it offers different depths and abundant marine life. It is a hidden gem of Oman.

What is your most memorable underwater moment?

Crossing the beautiful Blue Hole arch at 60 metres, with its amazing topography and the beautiful reef on ascent.

What advice would you give to a new diver?

Take your time—it takes time to learn the fundamentals of breathing, kicking, trim and buoyancy. Choose your dive buddies wisely, because it is not about the number of dives; it is about the quality of each dive and what it teaches you.
