Course Description:
Gain the knowledge and skills necessary to provide effective emergency oxygen care — potentially saving lives in the event of a diving emergency.
In this PADI-certified course, you'll:
- Learn to administer emergency oxygen.
- Gain hands-on experience with oxygen equipment.
- Be prepared to assist in suspected decompression sickness cases.
- Assemble an oxygen unit and apply emergency procedures confidently.
Itinerary:
- Course Duration: 1 day
- Includes both theory and hands-on practice.
- Practice scenarios include: assembling oxygen equipment, initial diver assessment, and applying emergency oxygen.
This course is ideal for divers and non-divers alike who want to contribute to the safety and well-being of others during dive emergencies.
Certification Outcome:
Upon successful completion, you will receive an official PADI Oxygen Provider certification card, demonstrating your proficiency in providing emergency oxygen care for diving-related incidents.
Prerequisites:
1- No prior diving experience required.
2- No minimum age (participants must be able to handle course content).
3-An interest in helping others and basic understanding of safety protocols.
Health Requirements:
1- All students must complete a scuba medical questionnaire.
2-If any question is answered with “Yes,” a physician must confirm your fitness to dive with a signed form.
Logistics:
Arrival Time:
- 10 minutes before classes and pool sessions
- 30 minutes before any scheduled boat dives
- If you are late, your sessions will be rescheduled
