Course Description:
This course teaches participants how to effectively navigate the underwater world using natural clues, compasses, and other techniques to find their way around dive sites accurately and safely. It enhances your confidence and spatial awareness underwater.

- Maintain reciprocal headings.
- Practice navigation in low-visibility conditions.

What You Will Learn
- Use a diving compass with precision.
- Navigate by making multiple turns and following planned paths.
- Estimate distance underwater.
- Apply natural navigation techniques using surroundings and marine features.
- Create underwater maps and use search patterns to locate lost objects.
- Develop buddy communication strategies for team navigation.
- Handle limited visibility and other challenging navigation scenarios.
- Maintain safety, prevent getting lost, and manage navigation emergencies.
Certification Outcome:
Upon successful completion, you will receive an official PADI Oxygen Provider certification card, demonstrating your proficiency in providing emergency oxygen care for diving-related incidents.

– Minimum age: 10 years or older
– Prerequisite: PADI Open Water Diver (or qualifying certification)
– Course must be completed within one year of signup
– No refunds for course non-completion

– Arrive 10 minutes early for classes/pool, 30 minutes early for boat dives
– Late arrivals result in rescheduling
Health Requirements:
– All students must complete a scuba medical questionnaire.
– If you answer “YES” to any item, a physician must assess and sign a form confirming your fitness to dive.
COURSE DURATION:
Total time commitment: 2–3 days
CERTIFICATION:
– Upon successful completion, you will receive the PADI Underwater Navigator Certification, recognizing your advanced underwater navigation abilities.
– This qualification enables you to confidently explore new underwater environments and lead dives with greater orientation and control.
